Au Lait Coffee Passport is an app designed for the true coffee enthusiast. The idea behind this design came from my own want for a way to find the best coffee shops when I travel to new places. While I am a huge fan of Yelp, I found it wasn't as useful when it came to coffee shops. Now I don't hate Starbucks and I'm a proud gold member since 2008 but I will always prefer a local coffee shop. AuLait provides a platform for users to find local shops as well as leave comments and reviews regarding coffee, atmosphere, food and allergen information. This app also allows the user to earn points by regularly visiting their favorite shops as well as trying as many places when traveling in a new location. The name "Au Lait" is a coffee drink that is half steamed milk and half brewed coffee. I felt this app had the main goal of blending this generation with local shops using an effective social media platform such as this App. For my color palette, I pulled browns and golds from photographs taken in coffee shops.
